We have an immediate requirement for the following personnel.

Mechanical Technician

The role of a Mechanical Technician is responsible for performing all daily service activities, ensuring to follow established work standards and testing for customers, as well as statutory and regulatory requirements. Responsible for ensuring that nonconforming products or services are controlled against use, and that all documentation and records are appropriately completed and maintained in a suitable and timely manner. It is essential to have a range of technical and mechanical skills that enable you to perform the duties of the job.

Job Duties will include :

  • Job site visits
  • Manufacturer training
  • Providing technical advice
  • Repair of industrial equipment
  • May require offshore and onshore travel

The successful candidate will possess the following :

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and equipment
  • Knowledge of mechanical principles and theories
  • Previous valve experience considered an asset
  • Previous electrical / instrumentation experience considered an asset
  • Proficiency in using various hand and power tools
  • Technical / Post-Secondary Education
  • Highly organized
  • Self-motivated
  • Able to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Quick learner
  • Valid Driver’s License and Passport
