A typical day :
- Recruits, orients and mentors employees as well as monitors staff performance
- Develops and manages the structures, quality and delivery mechanisms for programs and services
- Evaluates and assesses services to clients and implements strategies and mechanisms to improve service delivery
- Implements new initiatives and innovative practices into the delivery of the organization’s Learning and Employment programs and services
- Represents organization in the community
- Establishes measurable service level outcomes and targets metrics
- Oversees the preparation, implementation and monitoring of program budgets
Successful candidates will have :
A post secondary degree in a relevant field : Social Services, Counselling or other relevant post secondary education or the equivalent combination of education, training and experienceThree or more years of related professional experience at a middle management level is requiredTwo or more years of related management experience overseeing frontline staffConflict resolution skills including the ability to handle concerns and issues with clients and other stakeholderDemonstrated ability to form positive relationships with partner agencies, funders and other service providersStrong outreach and networking skills and the ability to maintain favorable public relationsExcellent communication skills both written and verbalExcellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environmentTotal rewards :
