Key Responsibilities
- Manage the collections process by communicating with clients or customers via phone, email, and correspondence to resolve outstanding accounts
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and follow-up efforts in a designated system
- Monitor aging accounts and prioritize collection activities to ensure timely payment resolution
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and disputes promptly
- Collaborate closely with other departments, such as accounting and sales, to ensure accounts are resolved effectively
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on collections activities and account statuses
- Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as applicable laws and regulations, regarding collections procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to maintain positive relationships during collections outreach
