Your Role as an Electrical Technologist:
Choose your own adventure! Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. As an Electrical Technologist, your role will include:
- Bringing ideas to life by applying electrical engineering fundamentals and tools to design systems for normal and emergency power distribution, communications, life safety, lighting, instrumentation, and controls.
- Shaping design by preparing detailed electrical bid packages, CAD and Revit drawings, and documentation for a variety of exciting projects.
- Being a key player in project execution, supporting engineers and technologists through every phase, from concept to completion.
- Making connections that matter by communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and all project stakeholders.
- Collaborating across disciplines by coordinating with architects, other engineering teams, and sub-consultants on complex, multidisciplinary projects including Mining, Municipal Infrastructure, Environmental (Water/Wastewater) Infrastructure and Commercial/ Industrial Buildings.
