Community Outreach & Home Food Assistance Coordinator

Our client, a leading organization dedicated to community support, is seeking a Community Outreach & Home Food Assistance Coordinator to oversee and enhance their home delivery service. This role involves collaborating across departments, managing client intake, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring smooth program operations.Key Responsibilities : Lead the Home Delivery Working Group and drive program improvements.Coordinate home deliveries, ensuring efficiency and client satisfaction.Work closely with the Operations team and volunteer drivers.Conduct client intake, assess needs, and provide referrals.Maintain accurate client records and generate reports.Use a trauma-informed approach to support vulnerable clients.Assist with reception duties and donor interactions as needed. Post-secondary education in social work or a related field.Experience working with vulnerable populations.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage client interactions with sensitivity and professionalism.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools.Fluent in English is required; & French is an asset.This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a respected organization.
