- The IT Project Manager oversees various complex technical Cybersecurity projects.
- The IT Project Manager's work assignments often require the coordination of efforts across multiple teams and organizations. The IT Project Manager possesses the confidence and subject matter expertise to represent their department to project teams across the organization.
The IT Project Manager :
Leads and facilitates planning and help project teams execute on their objectives leveraging a deep project management foundation coupled with agile behaviors and mindsetCollaborates with diverse teams to develop schedules that ensure timely completion of projectActively manages stakeholder partnerships and mitigates risksFamiliarizes him / herself with the system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the teamsOversees the interdependencies and integration of multiple projects and sets strategies to execute on project scope and key resultsCan build strong intrapersonal relationships with peers, leaders, and stakeholders and is viewed as a trusted partner who understands and advocates their desired outcomes and objectiveUnderstands Cybersecurity concepts / standards, regulations, strategies and operating standardsMakes decisions regarding own work approach / priorities, and follows directionCommunicates schedules, dependencies, issues, risks and the projects' status for both program and executive level audiencesProvide regular updates to leadership on delivery against program's objectives and key resultsUnderstands the concepts of Objective Key Results (OKRs) their formulation and deliveryRequired Qualifications
7+ years of experience managing technical projects of increasing complexityDemonstrated experience in technical design and practical implementation of IT solutionsDemonstrated experience supporting or managing projects related to Data Governance.Ability to work under minimal supervision and uses independent judgment to analyze variable factors and determine the best course of actionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in managing Cybersecurity projectsSignificant experience using Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Jira, or other work management tools Experience delivering solutions in both a traditional waterfall and agile environmentProject Management Institute, SAFe or Scrum Alliance certificationAdditional Information
