Job description

The Village of Tansley Woods located in Burlington, Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a Food Service Aide to join their evening team, working approximately 28 hours bi-weekly from 15 : 45 to 19 : 15 .

As a new Food Services team member (FSA) joining our Village Team, you will :

Hold a valid Food Handlers certification

Valid Smart Serve Certification

Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members

Be able to lift up to 35lbs

Have exceptional time management sills and ability to work in collaboration with a team

Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of customer service to our residents

Assist in serving meals and beverages to our residents ensuring we meet residents’ diets and food preferences while following safe and sanitary food handling techniques

Food Service Team Members at Schlegel Villages assist with the preparation of catering functions and events, and maintaining a clean dining room and workspace

All applicants will be considered, subject to compliance with the Company’s COVID-19 Vaccination Policy”

Have completed, enrolled in or willing to enroll in the Food Services Worker training program
