You as a Senior Systems Analyst will:
- Develop and maintain standards and best practices for systems and applications.
- Lead the design and implementation of data protection strategies, to safeguard against unauthorized access, modification, and deletion, including encryption, secure storage, IAM controls.
- Provide expert technical guidance on security and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Drive architecture and strategic planning for scalable, modular, and integrated technology solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and data protection solutions.
- Analyze system performance and security metrics; recommend and implement enhancements.
- Diagnose and resolve complex configuration and troubleshooting issues across multi-vendor, multi-site environments.
- Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune) for scalability and long-term growth.
- Oversee cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS, SaaS platforms), including DNS services, patching, and upgrades.
- Manage NTFS and network share permissions, ensuring proper access control and governance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for corporate systems and processes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to enterprise environments.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior team members.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence.
Is this the right role for you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of full-time, industry-level experience as a Systems & Applications Analyst or equivalent senior role.
- Minimum 6+ years of IT support experience, including 2+ years administering Microsoft 365 (M365/O365), Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and Active Directory Services.
- Extensive experience in administration and maintenance of Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DHCP, DNS, DFS, ADFS, SMB, NTFS permissions.
- Strong knowledge of storage technologies (Azure Cloud, SAN, NAS, DAS, Converged & Hyper-Converged) and cloud-based data protection solutions.
- Hands-on experience with NASUNI hybrid cloud solutions is an asset.
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 suite and Azure infrastructure, including Data Governance, Identity Management, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Experience with SQL databases and Azure SQL Instance administration.
- Strong understanding of Security Governance, Compliance, Incident Management, Change Management, and Risk Assessment.
- Proven ability to manage hybrid enterprise networks (on-premises and cloud).
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration (asset).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and superior time/project management.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and adoption of emerging technologies, especially in enterprise and construction environments.
