Comfort Keepers is looking for Personal Support Workers (PSW) in the Shelburne area to join our growing team. We are a leading in-home care provider for seniors and other adults that require a helping hand or companionship in their home. Shifts are available for evenings (5-8pm) in the community. Candidates must be willing to work weekends, alternating weekends. As shifts are short, average 3 hrs, caregivers must have reliable transportation to Shelburne.

In this position you will provide support and assistance in community setting for private and government funded homecare. Our Personal Support Workers provide exceptional in-home and companion experiences and assist with services detailed in our customized personal care service plans.

Job Requirements:

• Driver with a vehicle that can be used for the purposes of work (no client transportation)
• Access to a cellular data enabled mobile phone
• Local to Shelburne
• Must have a current Vulnerable Sector Police check (within past 6 months) or be willing to obtain one
• Canadian issued Personal Support Worker certificate, Developmental Support Worker certificate, Health Care Aid certificate, 2nd yr+ Canadian nursing student, graduate of a Canadian nursing program or are an IEN
• Current BLS/CPR
• Up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations per PHAC recommendations
• Seasonal influenza vaccination
