Day In The Life : Provides clerical support to the HR department Research, surveys, various projects as required Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation, filing, and Laserfiche Provide superior customer service when performing a variety of administrative functions Support the recruitment process through scheduling interviews / testing, and ensure timely feedback is provided to all external candidates Aid in the preparation for new employee onboarding Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records Responsible for general office duties such as booking meetings, organizing stock, printer support, and other office maintenance as required The responsibilities described above are representative and are not to be construed as all-inclusive What We Are Looking For : A strong interest in or desire to work in the HR field Ability to maintain confidentiality Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy Preference given to students enrolled in Human Resources Management or related field Must be returning to full-time University or College studies in September 2026 Application Process : Qualified applicants are invited to apply online at the Career Opportunities section of our website at www.countyofessex.ca by the posting deadline.
