What You'll Be Doing
- Assist in the planning, preparation, delivery and evaluation of public and educational programming for temporary and permanent exhibitions.
- Assist with organizing key summer special events.
- Enhance education kits.
- Perform other similar and related tasks.
What's Required
Enrolled in full‑time, post‑secondary studies in the field of concurrent education, political science, visual arts, history, geography, child & youth studies or museum studies and returning to full‑time studies in the fall; supporting confirmation letter from your Registrar’s Office will be required.Must be eligible to work in Canada, be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and be between the ages of 16‑30 years.Experience in education and / or event planning is an asset.Familiarity with public and educational programming in a museum setting is an asset.Good organization and project management skills.Effective written and verbal communication.Attention to detail.Excellent volunteer and interpersonal skills.Proven research skills.Efficient problem‑solving skills.Advanced computer skills.Self‑motivated, as well as the ability to work in a group.Job Details
