THE ROLE
Under the direction of the Fitness, Sports & Recreation Manager, the Facilities Coordinator plans and coordinates the maintenance, repair or construction of local facilities and fitness trails and schedules the use of recreation facilities. They establish and maintain facilities access and control procedures as well as a control system for Environment / Health and Safety and maintenance of building. The Facilities Coordinator supervises employees and prepares their work schedules, as required, and completes all administrative tasks related to the maintenance and upgrade of facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND several years of experience in facilities management or in a related field.
Experience
In coordinating the maintenance and repair of facilities and related equipment
In applying policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable legislation
In facilities maintenance and repair procedures
In project management
In budget administration
In personnel administration
In using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, e-mail and Internet browsing
Competencies
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English Essential / Bilingual (English and French) an asset
Reading : Functional
Writing : Functional
Oral : Functional

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.
START DATE
This is a temporary position with an anticipated start date of 02 March 2026 and end date of 16 January 2028.
