Maintenance Mechanic

Opportunity : One of our Manufacturing logistics Industry clients based out in Scarborough, ON is looking for a "Maintenance Mechanic" for a fulltime opportunity.
Job Details : Position : Maintenance MechanicLocation : Scarborough, ONPosition Type : Contract to hire for 6 months after 6 months it will be fulltime role.Job Responsibilities :
- Provide information and direction to your team to achieve safety, cost, quality, delivery, and morale goals.
- Planning and scheduling out regular maintenance, this also includes ordering the necessary parts for the appropriate machine.
- Ensure equipment is maintained as per the Preventive Maintenance Plan
- Providing direction, leadership, and helping the development of your team members
- Set-up and change overs for all manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure relevant OSHA regulations are fully complied Qualifications :
- A 5-year manufacturing maintenance mechanic experience.
- A 2 year forklift driving experience.
- Prior technical experience in packaging manufacturing is a must.
- Computer skills in Microsoft word, excel, power point, and outlook is required.
- Prior experience in WMS and ACCPAC (Sage) preferred.
- Exceptional English communication skills required, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
