Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quaity Assurance Engineer with experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web and / or mobile applications by executing effective testing strategies and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute Functional and UAT testing activities, including test planning, test case design, execution, defect logging, and reporting to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Perform end-to-end functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing for complex enterprise applications, ensuring full business workflow coverage.

Analyse requirement specifications (BRDs, user stories, wireframes) to derive clear and effective test scenarios covering business logic, approval flows, controls, and audit trails.

Validate cross-platform and cross-browser functionality of web portals and multi-device mobile applications where applicable.

Identify, log, track, and coordinate defect resolution with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders using test management / defect tracking tools.

Prepare and present structured test status reports, quality metrics, and UAT readiness summaries to project leads and stakeholders.

Support test process improvements and contribute to QA best practices, templates, and documentation standards

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software testing, with strong focus on Functional and UAT testing for enterprise systems.

Exposure to at least one national-level e-Governance, Enterprise Platform, or Marketplace project validating large-scale business flows and user journeys.

Hands-on experience writing and executing comprehensive test cases, managing defects, and interpreting functional requirements into test scenarios.

Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr, TestRail) and familiarity with Agile or SDLC processes.

Experience in validating cross-browser and multi-device compatibility for web and mobile applications is a plus.

Preferred Certifications : ISTQB Foundation or Intermediate
