About the role
Spend their days going door to door to pitch the opportunity and idea of Solar, their goal is to book qualified leads for our solar consultants.
Succeeding in this role means more than just knocking doors and giving away a free consultation, it"s about pre-qualifying the customer, adding quality notes to their paperwork to set our consultants up for success, getting ALL of the right pictures every time and conveying the right message to the customer.
With the right mindset, work ethic and commitment to setting quality appointments anyone can thrive in this role!
You will play a crucial role in driving our sales pipeline and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
What you"ll do
Door-to-Door Lead Generation : Knock on doors and engage with homeowners to introduce them to the benefits of solar energy and assess their interest in purchasing a solar system. Set either an appointment for a consultation or create a warm lead for our BDC team.
Relationship Building : Build and maintain positive relationships with customers throughout the sales process, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Documentation : Complete necessary forms; ensuring customer application is submitted correctly.
Market Intelligence : Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments related to solar energy to effectively position products and services in the market.
Team Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with your sales team, provide effective feedback for continued success.
Qualifications
Education : None
Experience : None. Success in direct sales roles or door-to-door sales is preferred. Customer service experience is also an asset.
Skills
Objection handling.
Self-motivated and results-driven with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Ability to understand, memorize and recite the sales script.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Salary Range :
45,000 - $70,000 per year.
Potential Challenges :
Dealing with repeat rejection, script memorization, working in all weather conditions, ability to keep an upbeat attitude.
