Litigation Legal Assistant - Tax

Our client, a top tier law firm located in the core of the financial district of Toronto, seeks a Litigation Assistant to join its team. This is a full time permanent role.

In this role you will assist a terrific group of professionals in the smooth running of their practice.

You will be responsible for independently managing the daily operation of multiple partners and to ensure that all files are organized and up to date. You will prepare, complete and file all necessary documents with CRA and the Tax Court of Canada. The ability to track and diarize deadlines, deal with accounting and billings, handle onboarding and the administrative duties and tasks of the practice are essential to being successful in this role.

If you have three years of experience working as a legal assistant preferably in a tax or litigation practice and have successfully completed a Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program we want to hear from you! Bring your strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite of Applications and your ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines! Come join a team of really nice lawyers and support staff!
