20 / hr - $28.23 / hr Shifts : 0700-1500; 1500-2300; 2300-0700 Status : Full time POSITION SUMMARY : Under the guidance of the Military Police Shift Supervisor, the MP Dispatcher is responsible for prompt emergency and non-emergency Police response.

They are also responsible for proper documentation of all calls, starting the CAD in SAMPIS for patrols in accordance with CF MP Gp Orders, issuing keys and monitoring alarms / cameras.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to Dispatch Police response appropriately to any given situation Adhering to CF MP Gp Orders with regard to protocols relating to communications Ability to use or learn to use SAMPIS in the performance of duties Ability to use CPIC and adhering to the regulations Complying with Access to Information / Privacy Act requirements Act as the interim detachment commander in their absence Maintain strict confidentiality at all times QUALIFICATIONS Successful completion of the Commissionaire Security Officer Course Successful completion of the Commissionaire Supervisor Course Must have Level II (Secret) security clearance issued by Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) and be on the VCR Ability to use proper radio / telephone communication procedures, monitor alarm / CCTV equipment.
