Job description
Ready to jump-start your career with Kal Tire as a Commercial Tire Technician? In this hands-on role, you'll perform tire installations, repairs, and maintenance for commercial vehicles, delivering top-quality service while upholding the highest safety standards. Store Location: 511 10 ST SW SALMON ARM BC V1E 1T1Store Hours: Mon-Fri: 7:30-6:00 | Sat: 8:00-5:00 | Sun: Closed

Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspections and maintenance, including checking inflation, tread wear, and overall condition to ensure tire safety, efficiency, and performance.
  • Communicate services performed by providing insights and recommendations for repairs and maintenance to improve vehicle performance.
  • Deliver professional fleet, roadside, and off-site tire services for commercial vehicles, minimizing downtime with fast and efficient support.
  • Adhere to Kal Tire’s safety protocols and quality standards in all tasks to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold the company’s reputation for excellence.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in commercial tire installation, repair, and maintenance is considered an asset but not required.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license for on-site service and roadside assistance tasks.
  • Excelling in a physically demanding environment, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs to shoulder height and perform tasks efficiently.
  • Demonstrating a safety-first mindset by adhering to all safety protocols, wearing required PPE, and promoting a secure workplace culture..
  • Possessing strong technical skills and a proactive approach to solving tire and equipment challenges.
