Job descriptionPerform dimensional, visual, mechanical, or functional tests according to established procedures Identify defects or deviations and document non-conformities Documentation and Traceability Maintain up-to-date records of tests, measurements, and verifications Participate in root cause analysis of non-conformities Collaboration with Production Provide technical support regarding quality procedures Ensure proper implementation of corrective actions Audits and Compliance Verify compliance of received raw materials Ensure adherence to ISO, CSA, or other applicable certification standards Continuous Improvement Contribute to the development or updating of quality procedures College diploma (DEC) or vocational diploma (DEP) in mechanical engineering technology, metallurgy, industrial inspection, or a related field 1 to 3 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing or industrial environment Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) Knowledge of manufacturing processes (welding, machining, assembly, etc.) Understanding of ISO, CSA, or equivalent standards Strong attention to detail and observational skills Analytical mindset and precision Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of quality management software (e.g., ERP, SAP, etc.) Familiarity with problem-solving tools (Pareto, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) Experience in metal fabrication or industrial tank manufacturing Recognition and continuous training programs Provided equipment and work uniform Participation in continuous improvement committees Competitive employee benefits

Job Summary
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting, testing, and documenting finished products, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with the company’s quality standards and customer requirements. He or she plays a key role in preventing non-conformities and supporting continuous improvement of production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Quality Control
Inspect parts and products at various stages of production
Complete inspection reports and quality control checklists
Work closely with operators and supervisors to quickly identify issues
Participate in internal or external quality audits
Propose improvement opportunities to reduce scrap or enhance quality
