Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage, record, and update inventory levels within our system. The ideal candidate will ensure stock accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts, playing a pivotal role in the efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Accurately record and update inventory levels in the system.
• Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Label and organize items in storage areas.
• Prepare and document outgoing shipments.
• Maintain detailed records of stock movements.
• Generate inventory reports for management review.
• Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to procurement.
• Communicate effectively with procurement, shipping, and production teams.
• Assist in resolving stock shortages or other inventory-related issues.

Essential Skills

• Over 2 years of experience in inventory control and logistics.
• Proficiency in coordinating with carriers and generating shipment labels and Bills of Lading (BOLs).
• Experience with ERP systems, email communication, Microsoft Excel, and RF scanners.
• Forklift certification (Counterbalance).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Brampton, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.70 - $25.80/hr.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Brampton,ON.
