Job description

Adecco is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Operator to join their team in Saint John, NB. This is a temporary to possibly permanent contract position offering competitive pay at $17.93 per hour. If you have experience operating forklifts, moving inventory, and handling warehouse duties with precision, we want to hear from you!

  • Pay rate : $17.93 / hour.
  • Location : Saint John, NB
  • Shifts : 3 : 30pm-1 : 30am
  • Job type : Temporary to possibly permanent | Full-time

    • Responsibilities :

  • Loading, unloading, packing, and unpacking materials.
  • Labeling and sorting incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Relocating items within the warehouse or factory.
  • Operating forklifts, winches, or other machinery used for transporting materials.
  • Tracking inventory of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Handling and disposing of hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations.

    • Requirements :

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts, or related training.
  • Previous certifications in forklift operation are an asset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college diploma is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of prior industrial experience in a production or manufacturing facility.
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) training is beneficial.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office Suite).
  • Proficient with technical machinery and RF scanners.
  • Class 1 or Class 7 driver's license considered an asset.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to work with precision.
