Sagkeeng Child and Family Servcices is seeking casual Respite Workers for our dynamic and growing organization. As a Respite Worker you will enjoy working a flexible schedule in a rewarding position.

Sagkeeng Child and Family Services, we believe that respite care is an essential part of the overall support to families and our Respite Workers will provide care and supervision according to individual childs needs. As a Respite Worker you will provide support in activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and dressing, as well as providing learning opportunities

and behavioral support with the childs participation in events and activities. Respite Workers at our centres provide a calm and secure environment for staff to support the child during respitecare.

Qualifications / Skills :

• Ability to provide care and supervision according to the care plan which meets the

individual childs needs at a private home, community and / or centre.

dressing and feeding children of all ages.

caring for children.

disabilities / special needs is a definite asset.

check and First Aid & Level-C CPR.
