Nanny Wanted - Pending Hire In Process

We are an outdoor-loving, community-focused, soon to be family of 4 located in Diamond Valley, Alberta, seeking a part-time nanny to care for our 15-month old kiddo and support our growing household. We have a mid-sized dog and 2 cats so pet comfort is a must in our house.

As a live-out position, we are looking for someone who can join our family and help us provide a nurturing environment for our little one. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting meals and snacks, diaper changes, and engaging in age-appropriate activities to support our child’s development. Time spent outside engaging with nature, playgrounds, or stroller walks are a must, rain or shine!

We want someone who genuinely loves children and can create a fun and safe space for our son to thrive. He does not need fancy activities or crafts, just presence, interest in his world, and safety. Our parenting approaches are based on Daniel Siegel’s child research (e.g., “The Whole-brain Child”), Eli Harwood’s “Raising Securely Attached Kids,” and Michaleen Doucleff’s “Hunt, Gather, Parent”. Familiarity with or interest in these literatures will be considered an asset. Individuals who can work Thursday and / or Saturday afternoons / evenings will be prioritized.

The pay for this position is $22 per hour, and we hope to find someone who can commit to a consistent schedule as soon as possible.
