JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an internal control analyst SOX, finance who will have the opportunity to discover, acquire and apply skills and knowledge concerning the accounting cycle and financial reporting activities of a publicly traded company. You will work with different global finance teams to improve the quality of financial information.
YOUR FIRST-YEAR DELIVERABLES
- Integrate yourself into your department and role while developing trusting relationships with different stakeholders
- Assume responsibility for some of the organization’s operating cycles, identifying areas of risk at different stages of financial information preparation and working with different teams to find creative, effective solutions to such risks
- Familiarize yourself with the requirements pertaining to Regulation to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and internal control documentation methods.

Identify, define and evaluate existing internal controls in order to meet certification objectivesProactively identify issues presenting a risk to the certification of financial informationCoordinate control testing in each of our divisionsSupport each division’s financial information certification teamsParticipate in the continuous improvement of processes with managers from the finance function and other functionsYOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES :
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, accounting, or financeHave or be in the process of obtaining an accounting certificationMinimum of two years of relevant experienceMandatory bilingualism, written and spoken (English / French)Attention to detail; excellent analysis and synthesis skillsSelf-sufficiency and initiativeStrong priority management and multitasking skillsPassion and curiosity with respect to BRP products, customers and marketsACKNOWLEDGING THE POWER OF DIVERSITY
