What you will do
This position is responsible for managing Silent-Aire’s hourly payroll with all requisite deductions and maintaining appropriate financial documentation through an organized system of filing.
How you will do it
Complete the full scope of preparation and administration of payroll for all hourly company employees, while auditing payroll processing reports for accuracy.Ensures CRA transactions are completed and on time.Ensure that all hourly wages are paid accurately and in a timely fashion to all company employees, contractors, and other parties.Follows up with Corporate payroll on records of employment and remittances.Issue ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.Take and handle all inquiries arising from questions about payroll.Implement hourly increases, promotions, and so on in accordance with instructions given.Maintain detailed records and documentation of payroll functions for audit purposes, in accordance with statutory requirements.Administers leave processing.What we look for
Required
1 or more years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.Must have recent experience in the manufacturing and / or construction industry.Knowledge of accepted payroll rules, practices, tax laws, and reporting requirements.Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organizationComputer literate, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel and e-mailAble to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills.Attention to detail in all areas of work.Experience working with Kronos and / or UKG an asset.JCI employees are valued members of the Johnson Controls family.
