Security Systems Technician

About this role

We are recruiting for Security Systems Technicians to join our Kelowna Service team. This position requires you to be a certified Electrician or Security System Technician. Here's how your role will strengthen our team :

• Working on various job sites to install, configure, and commission electrical Security, Access Control, and Healthcare systems, including CCTV Cameras, Video Surveillance, Access Door Controls, Intrusion Detection, Nurse Call, RTLS, etc.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, circuit diagrams, and other construction documents to ensure correct installations in residential, commercial, and healthcare buildings.
• Respond to customer service calls, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical system problems.
• Work closely with customers to provide ongoing service, repairs, and programming of electrical systems. Maintain accurate records of installs and service calls.
• Program and integrate different electrical Security and Access Control systems.
• Train users on various products and systems (Lenel, Axis, Genetec, DSC, Avigilon).

Your experience and skills

Salary range : Compensation through the IBEW 993 Collective Agreement, plus great benefits and RRSP. A company Service Van, cell phone, and service clothing will be provided.
