AltaGas - Mechanic, Tech 3

AltaGas requires an enthusiastic, proactive, innovative and motivated individual to join our Team at theHarmattan Plant. Reporting to the Supervisor, Mechanical Maintenance, this position will support the mechanical maintenance activities at the facility.

You will :

• Assists and engages in maintaining and / or repairing of equipment and systems.
• Supports and practices Harmattan Gas Processing LP Policies, Standards, Procedures, Processes and Teamwork.
• Continued exposure to business skills and continuous improvement techniques to enhance the business.
• Carries out routine procedures and duties in operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment as per facility operating and maintenance procedures.
• Completes other duties as set forth by senior-level employees.
• Accesses and comprehends facility information (equipment data sheets, data books, P&IDs, PFDs)
• Has a strong focus on safety and increasing safety culture
• Provide Maintenance Assistance for other Plant Trades People
• Work with Operations to ensure effective job planning
• Utilizing the Maximo Maintenance software system to its full capabilities.
• Other duties deemed necessary for the safe and effective operation of Harmattan
