Job description
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the procurement process from the planning stage to execution, in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Interpret and apply relevant corporate policies to ensure all acquisitions comply with trade agreements, safety requirements, and laws.
Issue purchase orders, confirm acknowledged dates, and maintain open purchase orders to ensure accurate delivery dates and quantities while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Support to Logistics.
Job Requirements :
Effective time management skills, working well under pressure.
International Ordering and Logistics experience would be considered an Asset.
Computer skills with MS Office, Excel is Highly Mandatory.
Proven organizational skills and ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment.
A basic understanding of ERP systems would be considered an Asset.
The role is ideal for a detail-oriented problem solver with excellent prioritization and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently when needed, to make sound business decisions, and can accurately balance risks with business needs.
5 Years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Automotive industry would be considered an Asset.
Should be legally entitled to work in Canada.
