Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8 10 years of experience in big data engineering and platform support
- Strong hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark, etc.)
- Proven expertise in Starburst (or Trino / Presto)
- Hands-on experience with Tableau
- Experience supporting JupyterHub in production environments
- Strong understanding of capacity planning, performance tuning, and resource optimization
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to balance hands-on engineering and team leadership responsibilities
