About the Role:

As a Tax Manager, you will oversee the preparation and review of complex business and individual tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws. You will provide leadership, mentor junior tax professionals, and develop strategies to optimize tax planning for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and review of tax returns for corporations, partnerships, LLCs, trusts, and individuals.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and businesses.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
• Oversee QuickBooks financial management and maintain accurate tax records.
• Train and mentor junior tax professionals.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, offering financial insights and tax strategies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Active CPA license required.
• 8+ years of tax experience in public accounting.
• Extensive experience with corporate, partnership, and individual tax filings.
• Strong expertise in QuickBooks and tax preparation software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneously.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the potential for future partnership within the firm.
