Responsibilities
Maintain the grounds surrounding the building, ensuring it is safe and aesthetically pleasingManage and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections / checksAssists with moving and storage of supplies and equipmentReport on equipment malfunctionsMaintain and make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, electrical systems, etc.Performs other routine maintenance such as painting, drywall repair etc.Contact and follow-up with contractors, technicians, and service representatives utilized by the organization when necessaryAvailable for emergency callsAdditional duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
Knows basic carpentry, welding, furnace repair, small appliance repair and safety regulationsMust be self directed, dependable, conscientious, and lead by exampleAbility to organize and complete assigned workloadsStrong verbal and written English communication skillsPhysically fit / able to perform physically demanding job dutiesAble to work as part of a team with other DepartmentPrevious maintenance experience is an assetMust posess a valid drivers licenceMust be double vaccinatedMust be able to provide a clear criminal record / vulnerable sector search
