The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following :
- Oversee the tender and quantity take off process on multiple estimating projects
- Oversee and manage the pre-qualification process for municipal project bidding, vendor relations
- Deal directly with subtrades in preparation of tender documents
- Work with the Chief Estimator to close tenders and proposals
- Manage the transition of the successful project estimating to the project management team for execution
- All other responsibilities as required

The ideal candidate will possess the following :
- 2-7 years of estimating experience within the GTA GC interiors, municipal and institutional sectors
- Experience estimating projects in the scope of $1M - $10M;
- Local market experience with good trade relations;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience overseeing prequalification process
- Willingness to maintain technical knowledge through professional development, education workshops and reviewing technical publications.
