About the Role
Youlltake the lead on the core administrative work that keeps ourgrowingresidential operations running smoothly managing leases, coordinating move-ins and move-outs, handling compliance requirements, and supporting our teams and residents with reliable, professional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations for assigned residential properties.
- Manage all leasing documentation, including new leases, renewals, amendments, and terminations, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
- Handletenantsmove-ins and move-outs in Yardi withaccuratedata entry and workflow updates.
- Coordinate with Client Accounting and Property Managers to support month-end requirements, update financial documentation, and ensure all tenant and property files are complete.
- Respond to resident inquiries withtimely, professional service across phone, email, and in-person channels.
- Complete administrative tasks such as filing, document management, supply ordering, and coordinating maintenance requests.
- Support residential and commercial portfolios, with occasionalassistancetocondoteams for AGM materials, budget packages, and meeting documentation.
- Apply working knowledge of property management procedures, policies, and compliance expectations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry standards and regulatory changes.
- Has a continuous improvement mindset brings forward ideas,identifiesinefficiencies, and suggests practical changes.
Education :
Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Property Management, ora relatedfield.
Experience :
35 years of experience in residential property administration, ideally within mixed-use portfolios.Background in a client-centered, third-party management environment.Minimum 1 year in a senior, lead, or supervisory administrative role.Proven ability to work independently while coordinating with Client Accounting, Property Managers, and other departments.Experience guiding day-to-day administrative work and supporting a teams performance across different working styles.Skills & Competencies :
Proficiencyin Yardi and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) isrequired.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.Clear, professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.Strong judgment in solving problems and addressing issues as they arise.Preferred :
Knowledge ofThe Residential Tenancies Act, regulatory requirements, andPropertyManagementBestPractices.Professional designation or certification (e.g., RCM, ARM, CPM)consideredan asset.
