The project manager will be responsible to :
- Work with project resources to collect requirements, define scope, verify and control scope.
- Work with stakeholder groups to review, identify, clarify and prioritize business and technical requirements
- Provide scoping of proposed solutions
- Define project goals and responsibilities including creation of a responsibility assignment matrix.
- Define activities, sequence activities, estimation of resources and activity duration.
- Develop and control schedule
- Identify stakeholders, plan, execute and distribute communications and other related project requirements
- Report on performance, budget, schedule, meeting minutes, decisions, outcomes, risks and any other reporting requirements
- Manage budget
- Provide mentorship to the team
- Serve as a liaison between the technology, business, and clinical teams
- Take on additional assignments as required by the director
- Assist in the change management strategy that includes writing change management documents, creating training documents and videos, training end users, and supporting the team with change management activities
- Identify high-level risks as part of the project planning process
- Follow FH structured project management process including Project Charter, budget, and status deliverables.
- Create and provide templates for an operational VMU delivery approach
- Develop processes and approach for operational implementation of subsequent units

Preference towards those PMs with a balance between leadership skills (project leadership, team-member management, and change management), and technical skills.Experience working in large health care organizationsExperience working at Fraser HealthExperience working on health care initiatives / projectsPossess exceptional English language oral and written communication, facilitation and presentation skillsMust be comfortable presenting to the executive levelPossess a project management professional (PMP) designation or equivalentExperience of 10+ yearsExperience working with multiple stakeholder (business, clinical, technical) groups
