What You’ll Be Doing
Troubleshoot and repair underground / mobile equipment.Troubleshoot and repair remote control systems.Maintain battery powered equipment.Work with equipment, hand and power tools, lock‑out / tag‑out, test‑driving, and work independently.Communicate effectively with supervisor and co‑workers.Maintain and support equipment records and repair history.Provide data for cause and failure analysis.Comply with all company policies and procedures.Manage work and projects effectively and accurately.Meet deadlines for commissioning and repairing equipment.Other related duties as assigned.What You Bring to the Table
Licensed Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic or Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice; applicants with previous mechanical work experience will also be considered.Familiar with hydraulics, electronics, engine and transmission diagnostics, and battery powered equipment.Mechanical aptitude.Must have own basic tools.Experience in mining mobile equipment and other heavy mobile equipment.Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.Any valid safety‑related training certificates would be considered an asset.Ability to use judgment and apply discretion when making decisions.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Valid driver’s license.What We Offer
