Position Title : Early Childhood Educator (Assistant), Substitute

Location : Various Fort St. John YMCA Child Care Centers

Term : Casual, On-Call

Hours : Hours may vary

Shift : Shifts vary, Monday-Friday between the hours of 7 : 30am to 5 : 30pm

Start Date : As soon as possible

Salary : ECE : $31.56 per hour (includes $6 per hour Provincial Wage Enhancement Program)

ECEA : $23.81 per hour

Reports To : Coordinator, Early Years

Nature & Scope

Early childhood educators at the YMCA ensure a safe and engaging environment for all children. By adhering to the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum, they design, and lead activities tailored to the interests and developmental stages of the children in their care. These educators also cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents, fellow educators, and community partners to deliver high-quality childcare within the communities we serve.
