JOB SUMMARY
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating product & service transportation delivery activities and providing in collaboration with subject-matter experts exceptional customer support.
The logistics Specialist is responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply chain management, ensuring the flow of raw materials and final products from suppliers to customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations
Coordinate internal activities with customer needs & expectations.
Oversee all supply chain operations.
Organize and manage inventory, storage, and transportation.
Analyze and optimize logistical procedures. Review, prepare, and route purchase orders. Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
Monitor shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.
Address and resolve shipment and inventory issues.
Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure smooth operations Procure goods, handling logistics, perform quality checks, and investigate & resolve service-failure events (i.
e. defects, unsatisfied customers, late deliveries, etc.)
Update operational and technical databases, and ensure master data integrity. Generate various operational reports.
Update inventory records and pick-pack-ship small customer orders
Provide general administrative assistance to CCSE’s leadership team.
Complete quality reports and other related documents.
Additional Responsibilities
Provide first-level support (hardware & software) on CCSE’s environmental monitoring platform UNI COLD.
Escalate issues to the appropriate subject-matter expert on an as-need.
QUALIFICATIONS
College diploma or certification in logistics and coordination, business administration or any relevant certification in a similar role
2-3 years of experience in a similar role or any other equivalent experience
Knowledge areas : logistics, inventory management and general administration Bilingual (French & English)
