Structural / Civil Engineer
Our client is searching for a Structural Engineer to join their team. This role will be responsible for operations, drafting, estimating, fabrication, supply-chain and IT for the successful delivery of projects.
A successful candidate will focus on quality management for various projects.
Your success will be defined by your ability to :
- Be responsible for their overall performance including maintaining clients, safety, quality and overall delivery
- Suggest and implement engineering initiatives, like mentorship, standardization, and training programs where needed
- Focus on client management and communication
- Support Engineering team members
- Assist in scheduling, prioritizing and work distribution
- Analyze and assist in engineering budgets and timelines, as well as engineering department goal setting
- Implement standardized processes including change management
- Able to develop, maintain and grow relationships with clients, customers, and team members
Your strengths include :
- 5+ years of experience as a Professional Engineer specializing in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Proven success achieving results and being a strong team player
- Proficient with Analysis Software, Microsoft Office, Adobe and Bluebeam
- Ability to demonstrate communication skills necessary for conflict management and resolution
- Ability to maintain professional working relationships with co-workers and clients
- Travel required for this national position within Canada
