Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an AR and Export Documentation Supervisor.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing accounts receivable processes related to international payment collection, as well as managing export documentation procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable, export documentation, and international trade.
1. Accounts Receivable Management :
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports to ensure timely collection of international payments.
- Coordinate with international clients to resolve payment discrepancies and ensure prompt payment processing.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize bad debt and improve cash flow.
2. International Payment Collection :
- Oversee the invoicing process for export, ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements on sales contract.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address payment-related issues and streamline payment collection processes.
- Track payment status and forecast cash inflows.
3. Export Documentation :
- Manage the preparation and verification of export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin, ect.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation requirements of destination countries based on sales contract.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other relevant parties to process certain export operations.
4. Team Leadership :
- Supervise a team of AR coordinators and export documentation coordinators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to promote team effectiveness and individual growth.
- Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable management.
- In-depth knowledge of export documentation requirements and international trade.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office suite and experience with AR software / systems.
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience is highly desirable.
