Our client in Peel Region is actively looking for a Logistics, Business Development Specialist to join their team.

Salary : $, / yr + Commissions
Job Description :
- Plan and conduct market research to identify new opportunities and new territories
- Strategize to improve quality, efficiency, and sell price of existing services
- Strategize to maintain and / or improve company profit margin
- Strategize to increase sales volume from existing customers by adding more lanes, products, or services
- Identify corporate deficiencies and strategize to remove them
- Develop and implement strategic sales plan in the assigned territory
- Self-generate new business by lead generation, cold calling in person, or by preparing letters, by emails, by phone in the assigned territory.
- Prepare and conduct sales presentation to prospective clients
- Provide quotations / bids and follow up as appropriate for each contact
- Successfully close the deals
- Create SOP's for each new customer and actively support and coordinate the onboarding process between operations and customers
- Provide excellent customer service to new and existing clients
- Monitor results, and prepare status reports regarding sales, and accounts in the pipeline on a monthly basis
