Summary of responsibilities :
The Advisor, Training Performance and Evaluation is responsible for supporting the measurement and evaluation of CATSA training programs delivered at designated Canadian airports, including the gathering and analysis of training performance data. They are also responsible for writing clear and concise reports, recommendations and presentations related to the evaluation of training programs. The Advisor, Training Performance and Evaluation performs all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.
What you need to succeed
To qualify for the position, you must have :
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a specialization in Instructional Design, Adult Education, or another speciality relevant to the duties of the position, or relevant working experience.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience designing and deploying training effectiveness / evaluations.
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience evaluating formal adult training programs.
- Demonstrated experience in training evaluation and analysis.
- Experience planning, organizing, and coordinating program implementation, application, and effectiveness.
- Demonstrated experience writing clear and concise reports, briefing materials, and presentations.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience synthesizing findings and presenting information in a business context.

Understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS).Knowledge and experience using mixed-method (quantitative and qualitative) approaches to research and evaluation, planning, design, implementation, analysis and reporting.Knowledge of Training Evaluation and performance measurements such as the Kirkpatrick Model, Philips ROI Model, and Brinkerhoff model.Knowledge of the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) modelKnowledge of CATSA’s priorities and mandate, as well as legislation impacting CATSA activities.Specific work requirements
