Heavy Vehicle Mechanic – Day Shift

Mécano-Cam Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to fill a day shift position within its dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and preventive maintenance on heavy vehicles
• Carry out diagnostics and repairs on various units
• Complete repairs according to established requirements and standards
• Complete inspection reports and work orders
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements

• Must reside in Quebec (mandatory)
• DEP in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent experience
• Valid PEP card (truck or trailer) – mandatory
• Own toolbox and tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable, punctual, independent, and proactive
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy vehicle mechanics

Assets

• Knowledge of A/C systems
• Knowledge of DPF systems
• Class 1 driver’s license

Working Conditions

• Salary: $30.00 to $38.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Shift: Day
• Employment type: Full-time
