Accounting Services Analyst

Sarnia, ON

Introduction

Our client is seeking a temporary Accounting Services Analyst to join their Accounts Payable team. This role is accountable for payment processing, accounting within Accounts Payable, and serving as the subject matter expert for the corporate credit card and employee expense programs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in managing complex financial processes in a dynamic environment.

Payment Processing & Treasury Support

• Facilitate day-to-day activities to ensure timely payments for the organization.
• Forecast cash requirements for Treasury using data from multiple sources.
• Execute payment runs, transmit files to the bank, and reconcile bank files to SAP S4.
• Investigate failed payment items and potential duplicate payment reports in SAP.
• Enter wire transfers in the banking system.
