Life Cycle Manager (LCM) - Diesel Power Generation Systems
Location : Ottawa, Ontario or North Bay, Ontario

What You’ll Do :
Manage the life cycle of diesel power generation equipment for the North Warning System (NWS), including conception, acquisition, maintenance, and disposal phases, with a focus on design improvements and operational efficiency.
Conduct thorough reviews of equipment and processes to recommend design improvements, analyze failure trends, and enhance overall system performance.
Research and identify replacements for obsolete parts while maintaining a preventive maintenance inspection program.
Generate and present annual trend analysis reports and technical documents for system sustainment initiatives.
Perform site visits for equipment inspections, configuration audits, and failure analyses.
Collaborate with field technicians, management, and training teams to ensure compliance with configuration management plans and identify training updates.
Who You Are :
You have a thorough understanding of diesel power generation systems, including engine operations, maintenance, and integration with supervisory control and power distribution systems.
You hold a degree or diploma in a mechanical or electrical field, or equivalent experience, with a Professional Engineer designation or technician / technologist certification preferred.
You bring at least five (5) years of experience managing or maintaining power generation systems, specifically involving CAT, Cummins, or Deutz diesel engines.
You’re proficient in MS Office software, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and are well-organized to manage multiple priorities.
You have strong communication skills, enabling you to present technical information effectively and foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
