Bridge Engineer – Roads & Highways
Stantec is looking for an Intermediate Bridge Engineer to deliver bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and foundation engineering assignments as part of the Transportation Engineering Group in Moncton, New Brunswick. The role includes design, analysis, tender package preparation, cost estimating, construction services, and business development.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Technical design for bridges, culverts, retaining walls and foundation engineering assignments
- Analysis, design, preparation & delivery of tender packages, visual inspections, report preparation, cost estimating, construction engineering services
- Business development and proposal preparation
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Proven ability to deliver bridge design and analysis projects from start to finishExcellent report‑writing skillsFamiliarity with NBDTI and NS Department of Public Works design standards an assetAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environmentSelf‑motivated with a strong commitment to teamworkExperience with CSiBridge, SAP2000, MIDAS Civil, SFrame, AutoCAD and similar software an assetExperience with D / B or P3 projects an assetEducation and Experience
P.Eng. designation with APEGNB or ability to transfer5+ years of relevant experience, preferably within the Bridge Consulting Engineering industryMaster’s Degree or Doctor of Philosophy in Structural Engineering an assetTypical office environment : working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods. Field work may include exposure to inclement weather.
