What You Will Build

As a Senior Developer focused on Platform Engineering and AI / ML, you will design, implement, and operate the cloud‑native infrastructure that powers SAP’s next‑generation Business Data Cloud solutions.

You will :

• Collaborate with engineering and operations to design and maintain build systems, CI / CD pipelines, and deployment tooling.
• Develop high‑quality, secure backend services and automation tools supporting the end‑to‑end lifecycle of AI / ML features.
• Provide infrastructure expertise, best practices for cloud integration, CI / CD automation, and modern service architecture.
• Translate complex requirements from cross‑functional stakeholders into technical designs and executable implementation plans.
• Lead design reviews, produce clear technical documentation, provide peer feedback, and represent your work through demos, presentations, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to SAP’s intelligent technology portfolio by enabling reliable, data‑driven decision-making at scale.

You will join  SAP’s Business Data Cloud Foundation Infrastructure organization , a multidisciplinary team building AI‑driven services that empower SAP’s cloud solutions used by global customers. We design and operate the platforms that accelerate SAP’s product development—leveraging AI / ML, automation, and modern cloud technologies. You’ll collaborate with : Backend and full‑stack developersAI / ML engineers and data scientistsProduct teams building SAP’s next‑generation applicationsCloud operations and security specialists. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 125900 - 214300(CAD) CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
