Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Our Client, a Manufacturing Conglomerate company, is looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for their Brossard, QC location.

Responsibilities :

• Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products.
• Develops software tools including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools.
• Determines hardware compatibility and / or influences hardware design.
• Frequently interacts with peers and customers to gain cooperation of others or conduct presentations of complex technical information / project activities.
• Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
• Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires and in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Establishes operational objectives and work plans.
• Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other employees.
