Shipper Receiver - Freezer Forklift Operator

Our client in Greater Victoria is seeking a reliable and skilled shipper/receiver to join their team as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity in the food distribution sector with the potential to transition to a permanent role after 3 months.

Position Details: Shipper Receiver - Forklift Operator (working in freezer)
Contract-to-Permanent: 3-month contract with strong potential for permanent hire
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Forklift Requirement: Narrow Aisle Stand-up Forklift experience is mandatory

Responsibilities
• Shipping and receiving materials
• Managing inventory
• Operating a stand-up forklift
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Wrapping and labeling materials
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• 1-3 years of recent shipping and receiving experience
• Narrow aisle stand-up forklift experience is a must
• Comfortable working in cold and wet environment
• Experience working in a warehouse environment
• Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy
