Responsibilities
- Discovering hardware and software solutions
- Troubleshooting technical problems
- Identifying and repairing flaws
- Troubleshooting network issues
- Hardware and software installation and configuration
- Speaking with customers to quickly determine the source of their problem
- Giving customers timely and accurate feedback
- Customers are guided through a series of steps to solve a problem
- Following up with clients to ensure the issue has been resolved
- Replace or repair the required components
- Assisting with the deployment of new applications
- Support is provided in the form of procedural documentation
- Managing several cases at once
- New technologies are being tested and evaluated
- Checking the electrical safety of equipment
Requirements
Degree in computer science or information technology is requiredIt is advantageous to be certified for Microsoft, Linux, or CiscoPrior experience in tech support, desktop support, or a related role is preferredKnowledge of Windows / Linux / Mac OSWorking knowledge of remote desktop applications and help desk softwareDetail-oriented and problem-solving abilities are requiredTerms of Employment :
Permanent PositionSalary : $31.00 - $46.75 per hour
