Position type : Full Time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday (Maternity leave)

POSITION SUMMARY :

This position will be working with in our infant and toddler program, following Leq : mel childcare Policies and Procedures, Leq : mel childcare Staff Policies and Procedures, Fraser Health Authority Licensing Regulations, Community Care Assisted Living Act and ECE Code of Ethics. The Early Childhood Educator will provide a healthy, safe, and nurturing environment for children to grow and develop with indigenous culture and traditional teachings as well as encouraging the childs growth in their spiritual, physical, emotional, mental, and social development.

Qualifications :

• Early Childhood Educator licence to practice
• First Aid Certificate
• Knowledge of Indigenous Culture
• Food Safe Certificate
• Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable sector
